UK Pallets adds to Freight Distirbution Network

Two new members join fast-growing palletised delivery operation

UK Pallets, the palletised freight distribution operation within Business Post, has expanded its UK network with the introduction of two new member organisations. These new members – Kenley Warehousing & Distribution and Elite Couriers – will further strengthen UK Pallets’ network of over 70 specialist members and enhance operational coverage within Lancashire and West London.

Kenley Warehousing & Distribution operate from two sites in the Blackburn area offering a range of transport and storages options. The company, formed in 1975, largely provides next-day and three-day national delivery solutions for all types of cargo and loads utilising a mixed vehicle fleet and more than 140,000 sq ft of warehousing. Within the UK Pallets network, Kenley Warehousing and Distribution will handle the areas of Preston and Blackpool.

Elite Worldwide, the first Carbon Neutral courier company in the UK, provides a range of freight and logistics solutions including national and international delivery for parcels, pallets and full-loads. The company was formerly a member of a rival pallet organisation and brings considerable experience to UK Pallets, covering all of West London and UB postcodes within the network. Elite have been established for 18 years and are a UKAS quality approved organisation who have pledged 10 per cent of their profits to World Wildlife Fund.

Commercial Development Director Graeme Wilson, at UK Pallets commented: “This latest growth in the network demonstrates our commitment to developing the most comprehensive and advanced pallet distribution operation within the UK and mainland Europe. We are delighted that these two like-minded businesses – who share our core values of quality, reliability, service and cost effectiveness – have chosen to become members in such an exciting period of expansion.”
